A Mission That Serves Members

Your Collective Voice

Housing Colorado’s strength lies in our multidisciplinary membership base. No other organization in Colorado speaks for the entire affordable housing industry — representing the needs of real estate agents, developers, investors, accountants, property managers, public and nonprofit housing agencies, finance professionals, construction firms, and human service agencies.

Together, we are a strong voice and credible partner in shaping the outcomes of the state legislative and budget development process each year.

Education and Professional Growth

Housing Colorado’s education program is designed to meet all of our members’ needs. Each year, hundreds of professionals from across the affordable housing industry gather for our annual Housing Colorado NOW! Conference, the premiere educational event in the Rocky Mountain region.

Year-round comprehensive professional development programs in a variety of formats provide critical information and peer-based learning, meeting the emerging needs of our members — from our Forum Series, which tackles provocative public policy issues, to our Brown Bag and Webinar Series, which focuses on technical, need-to-know skills.

Connecting Needs With Resources

As a result of affordable housing development, more than $150 million in income is generated, 2,000-plus jobs are supported, and hundreds of new affordable housing units are built — each year.

These profound impacts take place because you — Housing Colorado members — realize the importance of healthy communities. Through our services and programs, Housing Colorado facilitates the critical exchanges that connect the needs of our professional community to the resources required to make development and redevelopment of affordable housing occur. When Colorado’s affordable housing community comes together, good things happen.
