With the 2018 General Session of the State Legislature upon us, many affordable housing professionals are wondering what issues and policies will affect their day-to-day work. Whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours, this webinar will discuss how to take an active approach to advocacy.

– How to use Housing Colorado's PSAs, Brochures, and to receive up-to-date information

– How to initiate contact with your representatives

– How to talk about the policies that impact your organization

– How to establish a long term relationship and position yourself as a valuable resource

Armed with the right skills, attendees will be surprised to learn how accessible state lawmakers are and how easy it can be to effectively communicate your organization’s needs.
