2020 Legislative Luncheon
Colorado's 2020 Legislative Session started on January 8th, and affordable housing is once again top-of-mind for Coloradans and legislators this year. While 2019 brought significant financial support and legislation, there is still much to be done.
The 2020 Housing Colorado Legislative Luncheon provides a unique forum for legislators to connect with affordable housing professionals, demonstrate Housing Colorado’s diversity, and reaffirm our commitment to the development and preservation of affordable housing throughout Colorado.
Please join Housing Colorado members and state legislators to discuss the myriad and multi-faceted bills under consideration this legislative session. In addition to updates on current legislation, you will have the opportunity to educate legislators on the benefits that stable, safe housing brings to the communities and constituents they represent. We will also be hearing from Governor Polis’ administration.
While the Housing Colorado advocacy team has issued formal invitations to legislators, we encourage you to reach out to the legislators representing districts in which you provide affordable housing and invite them to join you. Housing Colorado will cover the cost of legislator lunches!
Arrive Early for the Issues Briefing!
Those who just can’t get enough policy are invited to the optional pre-luncheon issues briefing from 10:30 - 11:15 am at no additional charge. The session will give detail and context for specific bills under consideration by the General Assembly.
10:15 – 10:30 am: Registration

11:15 – 11:30 am: Networking
11:30 am – 1:00 pm: Lunch & Program
*Please note the cutoff date for registering is Noon on 2/3/2020. In the event the Luncheon is not sold out prior to 2/3/2020 the registration rate will increase to $75 for Members & $100 for Non-Members. Due to limited seating we will not able to accommodate walk-up registrations.

Event Cancellation Policy: Event registrations may be transferred to another member from your organization at any time without fees. Cancelled registrations must be submitted in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations made two business days before the event will be charged a 10% of the registration cost as a processing fee. No refunds for cancellations made after two business days before the event. Housing Colorado reserves the right to cancel any event if there are insufficient registrations.
