Dear Housing Colorado members,
In response to recommendations from the City of Denver and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Housing Colorado has planned for maintaining operations over the next 30 days while protecting our staff and community.
Starting today, March 16, 2020, our physical offices are closed. Staff will be working remotely and meeting via conference call and web. Meetings and gatherings will be converted to remote when possible, and rescheduled when necessary. Details on specific events can be found below.
Events and Meetings
Webinars: The Opportunity Zone webinar is rescheduled for March 31 as our speaker has been called to DC to serve on a COVID-19 Task Force.
Forums: The Supportive Services to Ensure Tenant Success Forum, scheduled for April 9, will be rescheduled.
Site Tour: The spring site tour of Elevate @ Pena Station, scheduled for April 21, will be rescheduled.
Young Professionals: The Habitat Build, scheduled for April 30, will be rescheduled.
Eagle Awards Dinner: The CDC has requested that all in-person gatherings over 50 people be cancelled through May 11. We will therefore postpone the Eagle Awards until this summer. We are working with the event venue to identify a new date.
Committee meetings: All committee meetings will be held remotely. Call-in options will be provided by committee chairs or Housing Colorado staff.
